TAMARIND
The original kitchen of this home was small, dated and did not perform the way the client needed. We decided to combine the existing kitchen and formal dining room by removing a structural wall and creating a large contemporary kitchen and walk in pantry. The client wanted to keep their original hardwoods and extend them into the new kitchen space. We then chose rift white oak cabinetry with a white wash matte finish to compliment the floors perfectly. We kept the back elevation simple but impactful by choosing to forgo upper cabinetry and instead do an oversized custom wood hood and impressive stone backsplash. The kitchen is now light-filled, spacious and the perfect place to host family & friends.
